The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will separate from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the team understands precisely where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party access places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
